The 1996-1997 Detroit Red Wings were arguably the best NHL Hockey team ever they had a total of 6 NHL Hall of Fame players, Brendan Shanahan, Steve Yzerman, Sergei Federov, Nicklas Lidstrom, Igor Larionov, and Viacheslav Fetisov. When they all put there powers together they were unstoppable. They Detroit Red Wings that season ended up winning thirty-eight games lost twenty-six games and overtime lost eighteen games.
